The Firm's Story

History

Robt. W. Hall Consulting Engineers, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Robert W. Hall, a practical, dedicated, and hard-working young engineer. Throughout his career, Robert grew the company and built a reputation for excellence. The firm’s designs became known for being detailed, clear, and definitive, earning the trust of local contractors and establishing a long list of repeat clients.

While building the company, Robert was also raising a family. His daughter, Sandy, followed in his footsteps, pursuing an education in engineering and eventually joining the family business. She developed a passion for the firm and took over operations in 2005, continuing her father’s legacy by strengthening client relationships and making strategic decisions that helped position the company for the future.

One of those decisions was hiring Michael Bianchini in 2017. Michael joined the firm as an experienced mechanical designer and Professional Engineer. After nearly a decade with Robt. W. Hall, he made the transition from employee to business owner.

Today, Michael works closely with Sandy, who continues to serve as an advisor to the firm. Together, they have helped preserve the values and reputation established by Robert W. Hall while guiding the company forward in a rapidly evolving industry.

More than 60 years after its founding, Robt. W. Hall Consulting Engineers continues to build upon the same principles of practical engineering, lasting relationships, and a commitment to quality that have defined the firm since 1964.

Robt. W Hall Engineers is currently owned and led by Michael Bianchini, PE. Michael is an experienced engineer from Eastern Massachusetts who now calls this area home. Michael strives to support and develop his team of engineers as they develop their skills and widen their knowledge base. Michael is inspired by the drive and creativity of the team he oversees.

While he is extremely passionate about this industry, Michael’s greatest joy in life comes from raising his two sons, Owen and Henry. Michael enjoys being involved in their school activities and extracurricular activities including taekwondo, dirtbikes, and 3D printing. One day Michael hopes to pass down Robert W Hall’s legacy to his sons, and continue in the family tradition.
